Rahul Gandhi Should Know About TDP's "Bangaru Kutumbam": TRS

Congress president Rahul Gandhi's remarks on Monday that the TRS government had promised to convert Telangana into "Bangaru Telangana" but had only served to make KCR's family a "Bangaru Kutumbam", has become the subject matter of debates in political corridors.

One TRS supporter pointed out that while flaying KCR, the Congress boss had not taken note of the fact that TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu's family had also become a "Bangaru Kutumbam", and that all the members of Naidu's family - Naidu, his wife, his son, his daughter-in-law and even his grandson - had become crorepatis.

Another too wondered how the Congress could form an alliance with the TDP chief who was known for corruption and for taking commissions. Referring to former Chief Secretary Ajay Kallam's statement, the supporter pointed out that Naidu had earned hundreds of crores illegally and taken commission in most of the projects.

He also said that Naidu was caught red-handed in the "Vote for Cash" case, and that Gandhi should have taken it into consideration before forging an alliance with the TDP.

Another person, too, opined that the Congress would have to pay a very heavy price for joining hands with the TDP.
