Satya Sai Central Trust member Ratnakar on Thursday stated that the details of the gold and other valuables kept in the Yajurveda Mandir, the residence of the late Satya Sai Baba, would be announced on Friday.
Talking to media persons after opening the doors of the Yajurveda Mandir, the abode of Sri Satya Sai Baba at Prashanti Nilayam, Ratnakar said the evaluation of valuables was underway in the mandir, and that details will be revealed on Friday.
He clarified that there are no legal hurdles in opening the doors of the Yajurveda Mandir, and added that the mandir was opened in the presence of all the members of the Trust, officials and media persons.
Earlier, Justice P N Bhagavati, Satya Sai Central Trust member and Chancellor of the Satya Sai Institute of Higher Learning, said all is well with the Trust, and that it is functioning smoothly.
He also said he was contemplating quitting the Trust to focus on his duties as the Chancellor of the Satya Sai Institute of Higher Learning. (INN)
