Purandeswari Slams Jagan, Says Demonic Rule In Place In AP

BJP Andhra Pradesh president Daggubati Purandeswari today lashed out at Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy. She claimed that demonic rule was going on in AP, and that all people were victims of this government.

"The CM is coming on stage and spreading lies that my BCs are my BC. 'My BC' is only on his lips, and nowhere in his heart. This government does not have even the minimum sympathy for the BCs - is it necessary for this CM to continue?" she asked.

She alleged that Reddy's rule had degraded the State in all respects. "Today, there is a debt burden of Rs two lakh on everyone in the State. As if that were not enough, the Secretariat and the mines in the State are also being mortgaged. The leader of the ruling party is asking whether it is written in the Constitution anywhere that government assets should not be mortgaged. Who has given you the power to mortgage a Secretariat built with public money? The people have given you the authority to provide good governance, and you are instead robbing them by mortaging the government's assets," she said.

She also alleged that the YSRCP leaders had turned women into widows due to their thirst for money, and that children were made fatherless and the lives of the poor destroyed. She said that the BJP would explain to the people in detail the frauds and corruption committed by the YSRCP government.

OBC Morcha State president Rongala Gopi Srinivas presided over the State executive meeting of the OBC Morcha, where Purandeswari spoke. BJP General Secretary Madhukar, BJP State general secretary Bitra Shivannarayana, OBC Morcha State general secretaries Murali Mohan Naidu and Avula Nagendra, and others were also present.
