Telangana Congress chief A Revanth Reddy today claimed that political strategist Prashant Kishor had met Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to end his relationship with the pink party boss.
He said that PK would not have any kind of alliance with the TRS now, and that all his (Reddy's) predictions on the issue had now become realities.
The TPCC chief asserted that Kishor would follow the instructions of the high command after joining the Congress, and that very soon PK would hold a joint press conference with him (Reddy) after joining the Congress, and give a call to the people of the State to defeat the TRS in the next Assembly elections.
The comments made by Reddy have assumed importance in the wake of news reports that the firm owned by PK, IPAC, had struck a deal with the TRS to work for its victory in the next Assembly elections.
PK had also camped at KCR's camp office Pragathi Bhavan for two days.
The strategist has reportedly requested Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to take the Congress along with his party if an alternative political platform was formed in the country.
It is also learnt that PK had told KCR that it would not be possible to defeat the BJP unless all opposition political parties worked together.
However, KCR reportedly told PK that his party would maintain an equal distance with the Congress and the BJP in Telangana.
