OUJAC Students Held For Rally

The OUJAC members took out the rally in support of "Telangana Vidyardthi Maha Pradarshana" to be held at Indira Park on January 28.

Several members associated with the Osmania University Joint Action Committee were taken into custody by the City Police on Wednesday when they tried to take out a rally.

The OUJAC members took out the rally in support of "Telangana Vidyardthi Maha Pradarshana" to be held at Indira Park on January 28. However, the police stopped the rally at Secunderabad Clock Tower and took several students into custody.

The OUJAC leaders appealed to the students of all colleges and universities in and around Hyderabad to participate in the "Maha Pardarshana". They also demanded that the leaders across all party lines come on one platform to achieve statehood for the region. (INN)
