Sweets & Good News For Pro-Telangana Activists: From Digvija

AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh assures OU JAC activists (while offering them sweets), that the Congress' decision on Telangana will be out soon enough.

On Monday, AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh reportedly assured the Osmania University JAC delegation of positive news on the Telangana issue soon.

The OU JAC leaders, who met Digvijay Singh in the national capital, demanded that the centre hasten the decision-making process on the Telangana issue. They requested that the Congress Core Committee discuss the issue during its next meeting which is scheduled to be held on July 12.

They also warned that people would vote against the Congress in the Gram Panchayat elections if the party fails to announce its decision before July 23.

While assuring the OUJAC leaders that there would soon be good news with regards to the Telangana issue, Digvijay Singh also offered them sweets. (INN)
