OUJAC Members Raid KVP's Residence

Several activists of Osmania University Joint Action Committee were arrested by the police on Thursday when they raided the house of the Congress MP K V P Ramachandra Rao.

Several activists of Osmania University Joint Action Committee were arrested by the police on Thursday when they raided the house of the Congress MP K V P Ramachandra Rao.

The protestors raised slogans against KVP while accusing him of creating hurdles in the formation of Telangana state. They warned that the pro-Telangana activists would not allow those who oppose Telangana to move about in the region.

A few activists also tried to barge into KVP's residence. However, they were prevented by the police and were taken into custody. They were later shifted to a nearby police station. (INN)
