After a span of four years, Osmania University has got an A+ grade from the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), which is the second highest grade after A++.
A nine-member peer team from NAAC had visited the university campus on August 17, 18 and 19 to assess the university on seven parameters. The grade was decided during the 27th meeting of the Standing Committee of NAAC on Tuesday. OU had secured a 3.52 Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA), and was accordingly awarded the A+ grade in the third cycle of the grading.
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) has been accredited with Grade A, a notch lower than OU.
