One Lakh IT Jobs To Come Up In AP: Nara Lokesh

The Andhra Pradesh IT Minister said that IT parks would be opened in the Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Amaravati and Anantapur districts.

Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh said that the state government had set a target of providing one lakh jobs in the IT sector by 2019.

He said that IT parks would be opened in the Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Amaravati and Anantapur districts, and that contrary to everyone's expectations AP would soon be transformed into a major IT hub.

He also stressed on the need to enhance the opportunities for the youth as a means of developing the state.

The young minister made these statements in a brief interaction with the media at the inauguration of 16 IT companies at Mangalagiri in Guntur district.
