Rs 10,500 Crore AI Data Centre Cluster In Hyderabad

The upcoming facility by NTT DATA and Neysa Networks will feature a 400 MW data centre cluster, to host AI supercomputing infrastructure with 25,000 GPUs.
Hyderabad | 18th April 2025
NTT DATA, a global leader in digital transformation and IT services, along with Neysa Networks, an AI-first cloud platform company, today signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Telangana to establish an AI data centre cluster in Hyderabad with an investment of Rs 10,500 crore.

This collaboration brings together NTT DATA's global data centre expertise and Neysa's AI acceleration platform to jointly develop AI-first solutions and foster a vibrant innovation ecosystem anchored in Telangana.

The MoU was formalised in the presence of Chief Minister Revanth Reddy during a high-level investment meeting held in Tokyo. Senior leadership from NTT DATA and Neysa Networks, including Ken Katsuyama (SVP, NTT Corporation; Board Member, NTT DATA Inc), Tadaoki Nishimura (Director & SVP, NTT DATA Inc), Alok Bajpai (Managing Director - India, NTT Global Data centres) and Sharad Sanghi (Co-founder & CEO, Neysa; Chairman, NTT Global Data Centres India), participated in the signing ceremony.

The upcoming facility in Hyderabad is expected to feature a 400 MW data centre cluster, designed to host the country's most powerful AI supercomputing infrastructure with 25,000 GPUs. The project aligns with Telangana's vision of becoming the AI capital of India by offering sovereign, scalable and sustainable computing capabilities to support public and enterprise AI workloads.

The project will be powered through a mix of grid and renewable energy (up to 500 MW), incorporate cutting-edge cooling technologies such as liquid immersion, and adhere to the highest ESG standards.

The campus will also contribute to AI talent development through partnerships with Telangana's academic institutions and support the State's digital public infrastructure mission.

Welcoming this mega investment, the CM said, "Telangana offers policy stability, strategic location advantage, reliable and high-quality electric power, skilled talent and fast-track clearances through a single-window system to foster critical AI infrastructure and make the State a leader in AI-driven digital services. This announcement by NTT follows recent big-ticket data centre projects by AWS, STT, Tillman Holdings and CtrlS, and reaffirms Hyderabad's dominant position as India's leading data centre hub. On behalf of all the people of Telangana, Arigato Gozaimasu, or, in my mother tongue Telugu, dhanyavadalu."

Headquartered in Tokyo, NTT DATA is a global leader in IT services, data centres and digital transformation, and employs over 193,000 people across 50+ countries. Ranked among the world's top three data centre providers, the company operates more than 150 facilities globally, and serves sectors including public services, BFSI, healthcare, manufacturing and telecom.

Neysa is an AI-first cloud platform company focused on delivering sovereign, scalable and industry-specific AI compute solutions. It is enabling enterprise GenAI adoption through a unified AI stack and strategic partnerships across sectors.
