The Special CBI Court on Monday remanded former Karnataka Minister Gali Janardhan Reddy and Obulapuram Mining Corporation Managing Director B V Srinivas Reddy to judicial custody till 3 October.
The duo was produced before the court at Nampally Criminal Court Complex by the CBI, after the end of a 6-day custody.
Later, on the court's orders, they were sent back to Chanchalguda Central Prison.
Gali Janardhan Reddy and Srinivas Reddy were arrested by the CBI from Bellary in Karnataka on 5 September, in connection with a case of illegal mining of iron ore by OMC.
They were first remanded to judicial custody and on 13 September, and the court remanded them to CBI custody for further interrogation, for 6 days. (INN)
