TDP national president and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu today greeted people on the occasion of Dasara.
Naidu wrote an open letter from the jail in Rajahmundry that he is lodged in to the Telugu people today, in which he wished the people of the Telugu States a happy and prosperous Vijayadasami.
He also said in the letter that the YSRCP government had locked him up in jail and alienated from the people fearing defeat in the upcoming elections, but that no one could take him away from the people for a single moment.
"I may not be among the people right now, but I will be seen everywhere in the form of development. Every time the word welfare is heard, my name will be mentioned. Not for a single day, not for even a single moment can I be taken away from the people. I am not in jail, I am in the hearts of the people," Naidu said in the letter.
He handed over the letter addressed to the Telugu people to his family members who met him as part of "Mulaqat" in the jail.
