Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president and Telangana minister K T Rama Rao today lambasted the Congress government in Karnataka for "failing to supply adequate power to the agriculture sector", and said that the farmers in Telangana were aware of the Congress' incompetence and would not be taken in by its lofty promises.
Taking to X, KTR tweeted, "The incompetence of Congress in providing electricity to farmers is well known in Telangana for decades. Now, it appears that Karnataka Farmers have started experiencing the same. (sic)"
Farmers in Karnataka have been staging protests across the State for some time demanding adequate power supply to the agriculture sector, and KTR claimed that that was proof that Congress governments were incapable of meeting the expectations of farmers.
