Komatireddy To Quit Politics If BRS Proves 24-Hour Power Supply
Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today said that he would not contest as an MLA if the BRS government could prove that it was supplying 24-hour free power supply.
Congress MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy today said that he would not contest as an MLA if the BRS government could prove that it was supplying 24-hour free power supply in the State.
Speaking to mediapersons at his residence, he dared the ruling party leaders to come forward to accept his challenge, and termed the BRS as the Bondala Rashtra Samithi (Graves Rastra Samithi).
He also alleged that the investment assistance under Rythu Bandhu scheme was not being given for farmers who had more than 10 acres of land.
Commenting on the criticism of State minister T Harish Rao, he asked the minister to speak about his own party instead of talking about the Congress.
Komatireddy also said that he was ready to take all State's ministers to Karnataka to see for themselves the implementation of the six guarantees made by the party there in the campaigning for the recent Assembly elections, and that a special flight would be arranged to take the ministers on the visit.
