Telangana Congress president Uttam Kumar Reddy today made it clear that his party would not have any alliance with the MIM in the upcoming Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation elections.
Addressing a gathering at Charminar on the occasion of the silver jubilee celebrations of the Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavana Yatra on Monday, Reddy called upon the cadre to strengthen the party in the Old City and ensure the victory of the Congress.
He also alleged that the Narendra Modi government was trying to dishonour the Nehru and Gandhi families, and was hatching a conspiracy to black out the services rendered by the Nehru and Gandhi families to the nation from history.
Party senior leader and former union minister Sudini Jaipal Reddy lashed out at the Sangh Parivar and RSS saying that while the epic demon king Ravanasura had 10 heads, the RSS and the Sangh Parivar had 100 heads each.
"The RSS and the Sangh Parivar both outshine Ravanasura in all aspects," he alleged.
Jaipal Reddy said that there was no truth in the reports that Prime Minister Narendra Modi was annoyed with the BJP leaders who were provoking religious differences.
