Jagan Releases List Of His Ministers

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy's list of cabinet ministers is out. The following are the people who made the cut:

Roja Selvamani, the highly visible, articulate and many times obstreperous party leader and Nagari MLA, known for constantly vituperating and berating TDP leaders including Chandrababu Naidu ever since she defected to the YSR Congress from the TDP in 2009, was a surprise exclusion. She had herself indicated to mediapersons earlier that she expected to be in the cabinet, and many had expected her to even be no 2 to Jagan, as home minister.

Earlier in the day, the AP Chief Minister had said that he would have a cabinet of 25 members comprising 5 Deputy Chief ministers, one each from the SC, ST, Kapu, minority and BC communities. He had also said that 90% of the ministers would be replaced after two and a half years.

The ministers will be sworn in tomorrow at 11:49 am for which all the arrangements are being made.
