The oppressive temperatures in the state will continue for three more days.
Hyderabad | 21st May 2017
Nalgonda district recorded the highest temperature in the nation on Sunday at 46.2 degrees Celsius.

The weather department announced that it was the highest temperature across the nation though the temperatures have been quite high in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra for several days.

North-west heat waves have been showing their impact on the Telugu states and hence the temperatures have reached such peaks this season.

The weather officials cautioned the public that the oppressive temperatures would continue for three more days.
