BJP MLA Nagam Janardhan Reddy accused the Congress party of causing a delay in the passing of the Telangana Bill.
Speaking to media persons at his residence here, Nagam alleged that the Congress and YSR Congress Parties have "hatched a conspiracy" to divide the people of Telangana and Seemandhra regions.
He said that the BJP is in favour of Telangana, but it wants the division to happen in a cordial manner and that the people of both the regions do not have any hard feelings towards each other.
Nagam also held Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy responsible for the uproar in the State Legislative Assembly over the Telangana Bill.
He expressed regret over the Seemandhra legislators stalling the proceedings of the Assembly.
He warned that the Congress party would be wiped off from Telangana region if it fails to get the Bill passed in the Parliament immediately. (INN)
