Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar, on Tuesday, disallowed the adjournment motions moved by the opposition parties on five different issues.
As soon as the House met on Tuesday, Etela Rajender (TRS), G Mallesh (CPI), E Lakshminarayana (BJP), Nagam Janardhan Reddy and Venugopalachari presented an adjournment motion on the Telangana issue.
Then, E Dayakar Rao (TDP) gave an adjournment motion notice on the Bayyaram mines issue, G Srikanth Reddy (YSRCP) on reservations in local bodies, Akbaruddin Owaisi (MIM) on power charges, and J Ranga Reddy (CPI-M) gave an adjournment motion notice seeking discussions on the Anganwadi workers issue.
However, Speaker Nadendla Manohar disallowed all the adjournment motions. (INN)
