Telangana Rashtra Samithi floor leader Eetela Rajender demanded that Speaker Nadendla Manohar return the State Reorganisation Bill to President Pranab Mukherjee along with the views expressed by MLAs.
Speaking to media persons at the Assembly's media point on Thursday, Eetela said that another process required for formation of Telangana has been completed on Thursday.
He said that almost all MLAs have expressed their views and that 86 of them participate in the debate.
He stated that over 9,000 amendments have also been proposed by the MLAs.
Therefore, he said that the Bill should be returned to the President along with the views and proposed amendments.
Eetela said that the Group of Ministers (GoM) on Telangana should review the views of the Assembly and submit its final report to the Union Cabinet.
He said that the Union Cabinet should also expedite the matter and approve the final draft, which could be tabled in the ensuing session of the Parliament beginning from February 5.
The TRS leader accused Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy of hatching "several conspiracies" to stall the process of formation of Telangana state.
He also alleged that the Speaker acted in a partial way and implemented the "game plan" made by the CM.
Eetela ridiculed the resolution moved by the CM and then passed by the Assembly for rejection of the Bill, and said that the Bill was sent to the Assembly only for its views and not for voting. (INN)
