Arrest Part Of Huge Conspiracy Of BRS Government: Bandi Sanjay

The Telangana BJP president and Karimnagar MP wrote an open letter to the party leaders and cadre on the occasion of the BJP Foundation Day celebrations.
Hyderabad | 6th April 2023
Claiming that his arrest in the SSC examination paper leak case was part of a larger conspiracy by the Bharat Rashtra Samithi government led by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao, the arrested Telangana BJP president and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar today said that such conspiracies would not demoralise his party and its cadre.

"Arresting me and harassing the BJP workers are like hitting the ball onto the ground. We will only bounce back with the same force," Sanjay wrote in an open letter to the party leaders and cadre on the occasion of the BJP Foundation Day celebrations.

The letter was released through Sanjay's brother Bandi Sravan Kumar, who had called upon him in the Karimnagar jail in the morning.

Sanjay said that the BRS government had foisted false cases upon him only because he had taken up the cudgels on behalf of the 30 lakh unemployed youth who had suffered due to the leak of the question papers of the recruitment tests conducted by the Telangana State Public Service Commission, exposing the failure of K T Rama Rao, who held the responsibility for the tests in the capacity of IT minister.

"I am not new to facing cases, arrests and imprisonment. I am ready to go jail any number of times for the sake of the people. My entire worry is about the future of 30 lakh unemployed youth, with whose lives the KCR government is playing. While his family members, party leaders and cronies are getting plum positions, the unemployed youth, who fought for the formation of Telangana, are being denied their legitimate rights to jobs," he said.

Sanjay alleged that the BRS government had first taken the lives of 27 intermediate students due to malpractices in spot valuation in the past, and was now playing with the lives of the Class X students.

He also claimed that Wednesday's arrest drama was only to divert the attention of the people from the allegation made by senior journalist Rajdeep Sardesai that KCR had offered to bear the entire election expenditure of all the opposition parties in the country if he was made chairman of the opposition front.

Claiming that there was no question of succumbing to the conspiracies of KCR and giving up his fight, Sanjay recalled how Prime Minister Narendra Modi had withstood similar conspiracies hatched against him in the Godhra riot cases in Gujarat in the form of court cases and malicious campaign in the media. "Yet, Modi did not backtrack, and bounced back to become the Prime Minister with the support of party workers," he said.

Sanjay regretted that he would not be able to be present at the Prime Minister's meeting at Hyderabad on April 8, and appealed to the party leaders to mobilise huge crowds including the unemployed youth to the rally and make it a success.

He added that the time has come to uproot the KCR government which was caught in various scams.

"The people of Telangana are my family and my strength. Our ultimate objective is to liberate Mother Telangana from the clutches of KCR's family. I call upon all of you to join me, till we achieve our objective and secure justice," he said.
