YSRCP rebel MP Raghurama Krishna Raju today resigned from the party.
He sent his resignation letter to party chief and Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.
"I can't work with you who has a mindset like Ghazni," Raju said in the letter.
It is known that Raju had been working against the YSRCP for the last three years. He was criticising the YSRCP every day through his Rachabanda program. Even in his resignation letter, Raju said, "Like Mohammad Ghazni, you have made many attempts to get me disqualified as an MP, and what you wanted has happened today. Every time you attacked me, I too worked for the development of my constituency on the same level, even though you tried to physically exterminate me. Please accept my resignation immediately."
The TDP and the Jana Sena parties are releasing their first lists of candidates soon. Raju is expected to contest on behalf of the TDP. However, he is likely to contest on behalf of whichever party takes the Narsapuram constituency as part of the alliance.
