Mangalagiri MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy (RK) returned to his old party the YSRCP today.
He met Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy at the latter's camp office in Tadepalli this afternoon. Jagan welcomed him back to the party by wrapping the YSRCP scarf around him.
RK was accompanied by his brother Ayodhya Rami Reddy and Mangalagiri YSRCP in-charge Ganji Chiranjeevi.
RK had recently resigned from the YSRCP and as Mangalagiri MLA as he did not get the party ticket for the upcoming elections. He later joined the Congress in the presence of APCC chief Y S Sharmila. However, two days back he held discussions with YSRCP MP Vijaysai Reddy and his (RK's) brother Ayodhya Rami Reddy.
Prior to the meeting with Jagan, RK also held a meeting with key supporters at his office in Mangalagiri.
Speaking on the occasion, RK said that he would abide the decision of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and work in the party.
There is a lot of interest over what responsibilities will be given to RK in the YSRCP. It is known that Jagan has appointed Ganji Chiranjeevi, who belongs to the BC community, as in-charge of the Mangalagiri Assembly constituency for the YSRCP.
Indicentally, RK has made Jagan's photo his WhatsApp DP.
