BRS MLA Pilot Rohith Reddy today challenged BJP State unit president Bandi Sanjay to show evidence that he (Reddy) had received summons from the ED related to the Bangalore drugs case.
The Tandur MLA today visited the Bhagyalakshmi temple at Charminar in the city and offered special prayers to the goddess.
Speaking on the occasion, Reddy said, "I am saying in the presence of goddess Bhagyalakshmi that I have not received any notices in connection with the Bangalore drugs case. I challenge BJP president Bandi Sanjay to produce proofs of my involvement in the case. I am giving him 24 hours. He should come to the temple and show the proof. Otherwise, he should tender an unconditional apology."
Reddy also alleged that the union government was misusing the investigation agencies, and that the Enforcement Directorate was working under the direction of BJP leaders.
