Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today termed Wednesday's public meeting of the BRS in Khammam district a big flop.
Sanjay said that Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao had held his public meeting only to criticise Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP-led union government, and derisively asked KCR if the latter had invited the CMs of Kerala, Delhi and Punjab to tell them how he was doing business by building temples.
Referring to KCR speaking about countries like Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh, he said that the three countries were now facing financial crises.
He also claimed that the CM had failed to solve the inter-state water disputes between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh over the Krishna and Godavari rivers, but was speaking about the irrigation policy of the country in his address.
Criticising the comments made by KCR over the Agnipath scheme of the union government, Sanjay alleged that the CM had failed to solve the problems being faced by the thousands of aspirants for SI and police constable posts, and had no right to talk about the Agnipath scheme.
He also asked how the CM, who had failed to induct a single woman into his first cabinet, was now promising to provide 35% reservation to the women of the country in legislative bodies.
