State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar today assured help to farmer Potla Surender from Ponakal village of Warangal district whose land he (the farmer) claims has been grabbed by his brother with the support of BRS leaders.
Surender shot into the news when
he walked half-naked from Indira Park to the office of the DGP to raise a compliant over the issue.
Surender met with Bandi Sanjay at the State BJP office today and urged the latter to come to his rescue. He told Sanjay that his brother had been trying to kill him with the support of the ruling party leaders after encroaching on his land.
Surender teared up upon seeing Sanjay and urged him with folded hands to do justice to him as he was not getting any justice from the police or ruling party leaders. He alleged that his brother had tried to kill him twice instead of returning his land.
Responding to his pleas, Sanjay told Surender that his party would extend all possible legal support to him, and asked the legal department of the party to see what they could do. Surender thanked Sanjay for his immediate response and expressed hope that his problem would be solved soon.
Surender has been doing the rounds of the residences of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rap, several State cabinet ministers and, as mentioned, the office of the DGP along with a plough and a flexi for the last five days.
