MLA Padma Rao Is BRS Secunderabad Lok Sabha Seat Candidate

BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao today announced former minister and current Secunderabad MLA Tigulla Padma Rao Goud as the party's candidate for the Secunderabad Lok Sabha seat for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

After holding discussions with the party's legislators, other representatives of the people and other important leaders of the party in a meeting, and after collecting the opinions of all, the BRS chief took this decision.

A senior leader of the party, Goud has been with it from the time of the separate Telangana movement till today, and is known to be a committed local leader who has worked for a long while for the development of Secunderabad. The meeting unanimously approved of him as the right candidate.

KCR also announced the names of the BRS candidates for two more Lok Sabha seats. Kyama Mallesh from the BC community has been nominated to contest for the Bhuvanagiri seat, and Kancharla Krishna Reddy for the Nalgonda seat.
