KCR Announces Nivedita As BRS Candidate For Cantonment Seat

Nivedita is the elder sister of Lasya Nandita, who won the 2023 Assembly by-election from the same seat, and died in a road accident recently.

BRS chief and former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has finalized the name of Lasya Nivedita, the daughter of former party MLA G Sayanna, as the party's candidate for the Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly constituency by-election.

KCR announced Nivedita as the Cantonment candidate after discussing with the party's key leaders.

It is known that the elder daughter of Sayanna, Lasya Nandita, who won the 2023 Assembly by-election from the same seat, died in a road accident recently. That led to the by-election for the Secunderabad Cantonment constituency.
