Law Minister Erasu Pratap Reddy has condemned the role being played by the media on the Telangana issue.

Accusing a section of media of distorting facts and statements, Erasu said that leaders from the Rayalaseema region are agitating to keep Andhra Pradesh united, but that the formation of a Rayala-Telangana has been proposed only if the bifurcation is inevitable.

Erasu said that the formation of a Telangana state would not solve the problems of the region. He said that the present Congress government is ready to solve the problems being faced by the people in the region. (INN)
