Manoharabad-Secunderabad Train Fire
The Manoharabad-Secunderabad suburban train caught fire at the Dabilpur Halt station, resulting in the suspension of 9 suburban trains.

The South Central Railway (SCR) on Monday cancelled 9 suburban trains as the Manoharabad-Secunderabad suburban train caught fire at the Dabilpur Halt station, located between the Manoharabad and Medchal stations.
According to SCR officials, 3 compartments, including the engine of a push-pull train, were reduced to ashes in the incident. A short-circuit is suspected to be the reason behind the fire mishap.
The railway police pressed fire tenders into service to douse the rising flames. However, as the fire tenders did not reach the spot on time, 3 compartments were gutted.
There was no casualty, or injury to any passenger.
The 9 trains that were cancelled as a result of the mishap are: train no. 77623 Manoharabad-Secunderabad, train no. 77611 Secunderabad-Manoharabad, train no. 77625 Manoharabad-Secunderabad, train no. 77614 Secunderabad-Bolarum, train no. 77627 Bolarum-Secunderabad, train no. 77615 Sedcunderabad-Medchal, train no. 77629 Medchal-Secunderabad, train no. 77636 Secunderabad-Lingampalli and train no. 77644 Lingampalli-Secunderabad.
SCR General Manager M S Jayanth, Divisional Railway Manager Margoob Hussain and other senior officials rushed to the spot. The railways have ordered a probe into the incident.
