A fire broke out in the Aditya Enclave building at Maitrivanam Chaurasta in Ameerpet today.
The incident originated at a coaching centre within the complex, leaving several students temporarily trapped inside.
Emergency responders arrived promptly at the scene and extinguished the flames. Using ladders, firefighters rescued 60 students.
The students attending IT courses on the upper floors managed to exit through the staircase, while others were assisted to safety by the fire brigade via the balcony and stairways. Fortunately, no injuries were reported in the incident.
Following the incident, shops in the Nilgiri Block were closed as a precautionary measure.
Preliminary investigations suggested that the blaze was caused by a short circuit in a panel board located on the ground floor. The authorities said that the fire spread up to the third floor.
