Maintain Sanitation In Hindu Graveyards: Singireddy

TDP floor leader in the GHMC Singareddy Srinivas Reddy on Tuesday requested GHMC Commissioner M T Krishna Babu to direct all the Zonal Commissioners to cut the jungle plants and trees in and around the Hindu graveyards, in time for the Deepavali festival.

In a representation signed by all TDP corporators, and submitted to the Commissioner, Singreddy said, "People perform pooja for the departed souls during Deepavali. Therefore, the GHMC staff should be directed to maintain sanitation, streetlights and facilities during the festival season." (INN)
