Naidu Promises To Eradicate Poverty, Corruption
The TDP chief also vowed to turn Seemandhra into "Swarna Andhra", and assured the safety of all people hailing from Seemandhra living in Hyderabad.

Telugu Desam Party president and residuary Andhra Pradesh Chief-Minister-designate N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday promised to provide a corruption-free government in the residuary State of Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing the party's 33rd annual Mahanadu at Gandipet in Hyderabad, Naidu said that his focus would be to eliminate corruption at all levels in his government.
Describing corruption as the root cause of all problems, he said that the end of corruption would automatically lead to the eradication of poverty and unemployment, as the benefits would reach the common man directly.
He stressed the need for good governance in the country. He said that the people had voted in favour of the TDP in the recent elections due to its past record of good governance in Andhra Pradesh.
Naidu praised the TDP workers for their hard work in the recent elections, which brought the party back to power.
He said that the TDP had always worked for the people's welfare, and that it would never compromise on its principles.
He assured that the TDP government would waive off farm loans immediately upon assuming charge in Seemandhra.
Similarly, he said that the TDP would strive for a social Telangana.
He said that the TDP Government would turn the Seemandhra region into "Swarna Andhra". He also assured the safety of all the people hailing from Seemandhra, and living in Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana.
Making an indirect reference to the YSR Congress Party, he said that some people had entered politics after earning easy money.
In a surprising move, Naidu also promised to take steps to build a memorial in memory of the late Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao, a Telugu, in New Delhi. (INN)
