Kin Of Bus Accident Victims Stage Protest

The protest was organised by friends and family of victims who were killed in the ghastly Volvo accident in which 45 passengers were charred to death a month ago.

The Mahabubnagar Bus Victims Families Action Committee on Saturday staged a protest near Ministers' Quarters, seeking justice.

The protest was organised by the family members, relatives and friends of victims who were killed in the ghastly accident in which a Volvo bus of Jabbar Travels caught fire and charred 45 passengers to death a month ago.

The women staged a protest along with their babies, at the Ministers' Quarters. They carried a large banner seeking the resignation of Transport Minister Botsa Satyanarayana. They alleged that even one month after the incident, neither were the victims' families paid compensation, nor were those responsible for the incident arrested.

When some protestors tried to barge into the Ministers' Quarters, police swung into action and took them into custody. (INN)
