Police swooped down on a large scale to prevent any untoward incident, and Rajagaopal's rally came to a halt.
Earlier, addressing the rally, Rajagopal said the state would not be bifurcated at any cost, and that he will stall any such move.
Rajagopal had protested against the entry of Chandrababu Naidu into Krishna district due to the party chief's statement that TDP has no objection to a separate Telangana state. He was arrested along with his followers when they went to protest and submit a memorandum to Naidu on his entry into Krishna district.
Rajagopal had reiterated that he would submit memorandum to Naidu once he comes to the city.
