Gone Condemns Lagadapati's Comments

Lagadapati's anti-Telangana statements might create problems for the people of Seemandhra region living in Hyderabad, said YSR Congress leader Gone Prakash Rao.

YSR Congress leader Gone Prakash Rao on Sunday accused Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal of making provocative statements against the demand for separate Telangana.

Talking to reporters here, Prakash Rao said that the Congress MP has been repeatedly trying to provoke the Telangana sentiments and that Lagadapati's statements might create problems for the people of Seemandhra region living in Hyderabad. Ridiculing Lagadapati's contention that there should be a consensus on Telangana, he said that so far no state was created through consensus.

Prakash Rao also ruled out the possibility of YSRCP having an electoral alliance with the Congress party. (INN)
