Rajya Sabha member Palvai Govardhan Reddy, on Monday, slammed those opposing the formation of a separate Telangana State.
Talking to reporters in Hyderabad, Palvai said that Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal is a contractor, and not a politician.
He also went on to say that Rajagopal was a "joker" and that he was opposing the possible formation of Telangana for personal gains.
Palvai also defended the Congress party and said that the party would soon take a favourable decision on Telangana.
He also dismissed TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao's criticism of Congress, and said that KCR was worried about the future of his party in the event of the Congress party granting statehood to Telangana. (INN)
