Responding to citizens through the Ask KTR program, the minister said a flyover would be constructed at the Suchitra junction to ease the traffic issues.
IT and Municipal Administration minister K T Rama Rao today said that a new flyover would be constructed in the north side of the city.
Responding to citizens through the Ask KTR program, he said that the government would construct a flyover at the Suchitra junction to ease the traffic issues.
The minister addressed a wide range of queries and complaints in the interaction, and instructed the officials concerned to attend to the issues raised by the citizens regarding roads, old buildings, garbage, lakes and others.
Pulling rank for the citizens, he assigned many problems to very senior officials - for instance, instructing Mayor Vijayalakshmi to look into the garbage piled up at a lake in the Langer House area, asking former deputy mayor Baba Fasiyuddin to talk to officials to take steps to remove roadside garbage in the Allapur area, and asking the GHMC Commissioner to look into the non-demolishing of an illegal wall at an underpass near R K Puram.
Among other issues, the minister also instructed officials at L B Nagar to address the problems of non-functioning street lights causing inconvenience to women after 6:30 pm, and followed up on a bridge nearing completion in two to three months in the Bahadurpura area.
