KTR Inaugurates L B Nagar Flyover

Minister for Municipal Administration and Urban Development K T Rama Rao today inaugurated a flyover at L B Nagar.
Speaking on the occasion, Rao said that the flyover had been constructed at a cost of Rs 32 crore as part of the Strategic Road Development Programme (SRDP).
The minister added that a total of 35 projects had been inaugurated so far under the SRDP, and that another 12 projects were under construction.
Referring specifically to L B Nagar, he said, "Twelve flyovers have been taken up in the L B Nagar Assembly constituency. Nine of them have been finished, and the remaining three will be inaugurated in September. Also, the Nagole Metro will be connected with the Dilsukhnagar line. And after the elections, the metro line will be extended to Hayathnagar. In addition, the LB Nagar Metro line will be connected with the Airport metro line. And the Kothapet Multi-Specialty Hospital will be completed in one and a half years."
As part of honouring the sacrifices of the Telangana martyrs, KTR announced that the L B Nagar chowrasta would be named after Srikanth Chary, and that orders in this regard would be issued shortly.
