Veteran freedom fighter and Telangana Freedom Fighters' Forum chairman Konda Lakshman Bapuji, on Wednesday, stated that he would conduct a round-table conference with all parties on Thursday, to discuss the strategy to be adopted towards achieving a separate Telangana state.

who is observing a week-long Satyagraha demanding statehood for Telangana, at the Jantar Mantar in Delhi, said that the proposed round table conference is aimed at bringing consensus on the creation of Telangana.
Talking to media persons, the 97-year-old freedom fighter stated that he would present his views to the Centre, stressing the need for the formation of a separate state for Telangana people.
He reiterated that he does not expect any support from political parties.
"My Satyagraha is above politics, and it will continue until the Centre announces a roadmap for the formation of a Telangana state," he stated.
Bapuji hoped that the Centre would understand the situation and takes a favourable decision. He appealed to political parties not to politicize his Satyagraha for mileage. (INN)
