Telangana Political JAC chairman M Kodandaram suggested that the Telangana government deviate from the economic policies adopted by united Andhra Pradesh regimes and adopt alternative ones instead.
Speaking to the media at the Somajiguda Press Club on Wednesday, Kodandaram advised the TRS government not to depend on the realty and excise departments for revenue. It was advisable for the State government to prepare an alternate and innovative economic model, he said.
Speaking on the recent move of the Centre to combat corruption by demonetizing the Rs. 500 and 1,000 currency bills, Kodandaram slammed the BJP for allegedly remaining silent on Gali Janardhan Reddy's daughter's Rs. 100 crores wedding. He demanded that the government take swift and stringent action against Reddy.
