Kishan Reddy Clarifies He Was Invited For Metro Inauguration
The Union Minister of State said that he was indeed invited by the Telangana government for the inaugural function of the JBS-MGBS stretch of the Hyderabad Metro.
Union Minister of State G Kishan Reddy has stated that he was indeed invited by the Telangana government for the inaugural function of the JBS-MGBS stretch of the Hyderabad Metro, and that there was no truth in the reports that protocol was not followed by the government and that he was not invited.
It may be mentioned that the Telangana BJP president K Laxman had alleged yesterday that the state government had violated protocol by not inviting the union minister, who also happens to be the MP of the area concerned, to the function. Kishan Reddy refuted those statements.
Meanwhile, Telangana minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav said that he himself had invited the Union Minister of State for the function and that there was no breach of protocol.
Yadav also said that in the inaugural stone, the name of Kishan Reddy was also mentioned along with that of the Chief Minister, and that there was no truth in the allegations of the BJP leaders that Reddy was snubbed.
