After having spent two days in the national capital in order to participate in the
Congress Core Committee meeting, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy left for Hyderabad on Saturday evening.
During his stay in New Delhi, the Chief Minister interacted with several senior leaders, including Congress president Sonia Gandhi, party vice-president Rahul Gandhi and AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh, on the Telangana issue .
On Saturday, the Chief Minister called on the President Pranab Mukherjee.
The Chief Minister was also in constant touch with the state administration in order to review the situation that had arisen due to heavy rains in the state. The CM was informed that six lives had already been lost to incessant rains and flooding of low-lying areas. (INN)
