AICC general secretary Digvijay Singh on Wednesday claimed that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy will abide by the decision taken by the Congress Working Committee over Telangana.
"He is a very committed, loyal Congress worker and he shall abide by the decision of the CWC," Digvijay Singh said while speaking to media persons in New Delhi, at A K Antony's residence.
When asked for his reaction on PCC president Botsa Satyanarayana's remarks that action will be taken against those speaking, opposing the Congress High Command, Singh said that he would speak to Botsa about it.
Digvijay Singh said that the Group of Ministers (GoM) are addressing all the issues related to the statehood issue.
He said that the common capital issue could be addressed with the framework of the constitution, and that there are provisions in the Constitution which could facilitate common capital for a specified period.
"An appropriate law can be framed, and this is going to be done by the Ministry of Law and Justice," he said.
He said that the Antony Committee need not submit any report to the Centre as it was constituted by Congress president Sonia Gandhi. However, it would convey its views to the GoM. (INN)
