Telangana Rashtra Samithi floor leader Eetela Rajender on Tuesday said that Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy lost the moral right to continue in office.
Addressing a press conference at the Telangana Bhavan here, Eetala said that CM Kiran Kumar Reddy was making statements on the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh only due to his ignorance of laws and the established procedures.
Eetala added that the Central government had all powers to create a new state. Therefore, by stating that he would stop the formation of Telangana, the Chief Minister was challenging the authority of the Central Government, he said.
Kiran Kumar Reddy is issuing irresponsible statements due to frustration, he opined.
Eetala also slammed other political parties for taking a U-turn over the Telangana issue. He said that the parties who spoke about problems being faced by the people of Telangana have turned mute after the announcement of the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh.
He said that the non-completion of on-going projects and the delay in starting new projects has caused huge financial loss to the people of Telangana.
Eetala said that the reason for loss of employment opportunities for the local youth, is the non-setting up of new power projects in the region. (INN)
