Kiran Kumar Reddy's Tenure A Failure: BJP
The CM has been busy dealing with his conflicts with union ministers and MLAs, alleges the BJP.

The Bharatiya Janata Party on Monday described N Kiran Kumar Reddy's two-year tenure as Chief Minister as a "total failure".
Addressing a press conference at the state BJP office, the party's national secretary, K Lakshman, said that the CM spent most of his time visiting New Delhi to save his post. Further, he said, "Kiran Kumar Reddy was focused on retaining MLAs in the Congress to prevent the collapse of his government, instead of working for the development of the state."
The BJP leader condemned the state cabinet for refusing to allow the CBI to prosecute Roads & Building minister B Dharmana Prasad Rao in the disproportionate assets case of Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.
Accusing the government of adopting a dual-stand on the issue, he said that while the Congress government was trying to shield Dharmana, former minister Mopidevi Venkataramana was languishing in jail in the same case.
He alleged that by not taking further action in the case, the government was trying to facilitate the early release of Jaganmohan Reddy from jail.
Lakshman said that the several welfare schemes either remained non-starters or were not being implemented properly by the government. He said that while the Jalayagnam scheme was yet to start providing irrigation facilities to farmers, the government did not clear the dues of the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme.
Ridiculing the Chief Minister's decision of increasing the NREGS period from 100 to 150 days, he advised the government to first clear the pending NREGS funds.
The BJP leader said that the Kiran Kumar Reddy government has burdened the common man by affecting various hikes, especially by imposing a surcharge on power consumers.
He alleged that despite the increase in tariff, consumers, particularly farmers, were not getting adequate power supply.
He also accused the Chief Minister of creating a hype around the Rajiv Yuva Kiranalu scheme, which, he said, has benefited only Congress workers.
Alleging that the entire administration has come to a standstill, Lakshman said that the CM was busy dealing with his conflicts with union ministers and MLAs. (INN)
