Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will chair a BRS legislative and parliamentary party meeting at Telangana Bhavan at 2 PM on Wednesday.
BRS MLAs, MLCs and MPs will take part in the meeting.
With the Congress securing power in the Karnataka Assembly elections defeating the ruling BJP and the Telangana Congress leaders gearing up to intensify their fight against the BRS government to achieve the same results in the upcoming Telangana Assembly elections which are due towards the end of the year, the meeting assumes significance.
Since it is an election year, the party chief and Chief Minister is likely to give a plan of action to his party's leaders.
Since the announcement of the Karnataka Assembly election results, BRS leaders have been saying that there would be no impact of that outcome on Telangana, and that the people of the State were with the BRS. Despite that outwardly bravado and countering of the remarks of the opposition parties, the BRS leaders are still planning to take up various outreach programs involving all the sections of the people in the days to come.
