KCR Slams Opposition Fracas In Telangana Assembly
An annoyed Telangana CM today expressed displeasure at the Opposition persistently disrupting the reply by the finance minister on the discussion on the Budget.
An annoyed Leader of the House and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao today expressed displeasure at the Opposition members for persistently coming in the way of the reply being offered by the finance minister on the discussion on the Budget for 2016-17.
The frequent disturbances by Opposition members including T Jeevan Reddy and Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka of the Congress, BJP floor leader K Laxman and others would send wrong signals, he remarked. He asked them to stop coming in the way of Rajender's reply. The Finance Minister was trying to explain the facts and Opposition MLAs were afraid that their misdeeds would see the light through that, he alleged.
"Let the Finance Minister offer the clarifications you sought, and then seek further clarifications in an organized manner," he said.
He recalled that Leader of Opposition K Jana Reddy had patted to the ruling Party members for not causing disturbances to the Opposition members' talks in the House. He asked whether the TRS leaders were not behaving properly, and why the Opposition members could not maintain decency in the House. And the Opposition could not talk beyond the agenda items, he reminded them.
KCR asked Jana Reddy to direct his Party members to calm down. He also took exception to the Opposition for seeking more time than they were entitled to. So far the Opposition had taken 2.53 hours while the ruling Party had spoken for only 1.26 hours, KCR stated.
