BRS chief and former Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today made an appearance at the ongoing Assembly budget session, marking his first visit to the House in 15 months as the Leader of Opposition.
He arrived nearly 50 minutes ahead of the session, and was welcomed by BRS MLAs and MLCs in the Assembly premises.
Earlier in the day, KCR chaired a meeting with party legislators at the BRS Legislature Party office in the Assembly's inner lobby. He reportedly instructed all BRS members to maintain discipline and be present well in advance. However, despite his directive, several MLAs and MLCs failed to arrive on time.
KCR's decision to attend the session comes amid increasing political activity in Telangana, with the Assembly proceedings expected to witness sharp exchanges between the ruling Congress and the opposition BRS.
His presence is reportedly seen as a strategic move, reinforcing his leadership within the party at a crucial political juncture.
