KCR Lays Stone For Textile Park In Warangal
The Telangana CM said the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park would become the biggest industrial zone in the country, and create 50,000+ jobs.

Laying the foundation for the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park in Warangal Rural area, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao said it would become the biggest industrial zone in the country, manufacturing all sorts of clothes and apparel.
The new textile park would surpass the noted Azam Jahi Mills in production and providing employment to workers, he claimed.
The Chief Minister also laid the foundation for an IT Incubation Centre at Madikonda, a Road Over Bridge at Kazipet, and an Outer Ring Road on the occasion.
"Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari led a team to Surat in Gujarat, Tirupur in Tamil Nadu, Sholapur in Maharashtra and other places to study the various varieties of apparel, and all of those will be produced in Warangal now. Thread, clothes and readymade apparel will all be manufactured, to cater to the needs of both our country and others," he said.
Reading out the names of 22 companies which had come forward to set up businesses at the Mega Textile Park, KCR said that they had committed Rs 3,900 crores in investments. He said that the park would create 27,000 jobs directly and provide employment to another 50,000 people indirectly.
"I have no doubt all kinds of apparel will be produced here and boost the state's economy. We had promised to launch an apparel park during the statehood movement, and it is now becoming a reality," he said.
Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari, Industries and Handlooms Minister K T Rama Rao, Roads & Buildings Minister Thummala Nageswara Rao, Speaker S Madhusudhana Chary, other TRS leaders and officials were present. K T Rama Rao promised one job to each house in the district that had given their lands for the textile park.
